SMASH – Sustainable Mobility Analysis as Service Hub – is an EIT Climate KIC project that aims at enhancing the analysis of spatial data related to urban mobility to improve sustainable mobility. The platform uses data produced by GPS sensors such as crowdsensing Apps, fleet monitoring systems, bike-sharing stations, traffic count sensors, environmental monitoring stations and travel surveys.
SMASH provides innovative services for data visualization and dashboards to support the decision support scenarios. SMASH is a set of web-based open source components where to ingest, process and provide visual representations (maps, dashboards, infographics) of mobility analytics, based on heterogeneous raw data (bicycles, cars and buses).
